From street performing troubadour to alt-pop indie darling, Danish artist FAVOR is well on his way to be one to watch in 2019 with the new single ”Call My Name”


The new single is a sizzling pop tune that continues FAVOR’s new direction towards a more organic instrumentation, this time he is flirting with the indie-disco genre giving more credit to the blogs on HYPE MACHINE that already compared him to artists like Kindness, Benny Sings and Blood Orange.


FAVOR wrote Call My Name during a hectic 2018 where every successful progress of the young songwriter’s career only made him wanting something more. ”I kept comparing myself to unrealistic standards. I haven’t made a Thriller-album at the age of 24 so what’s the point?” The songwriter realized that something had to change. First step was to get these vain thoughts out into the open. Call My Name became his confession box and the start of appreciating the journey instead of the goal.
